Dear Friends:

It is with pleasure that we bring you exciting news!

Our Board of Directors has enthusiastically endorsed the integration of Haven Toronto with St. Michaels' Homes.

Haven has welcomed older homeless men through its doors for food, clothing, and social support for over ninety years. Adding Haven's work to our services will complement the good work we already do at Our Place Community of Hope.

In brief, this integration makes perfect sense for both organizations:

  • renewing our dedication to serving complex, underhoused clients;

  • bringing together our complementary strengths in clinical, fundraising, and organizational capacity; and,

  • combining to create an agency with revenues of $5M/year, making the new organization more attractive to funders and foundations.

This integration will preserve the mission of Haven Toronto to older, homeless men and of St. Michael's Homes to those with mental health and substance use problems for another generation. This integration is actively supported by Bruno Scorsone, the Executive Director of Haven Toronto and by Robin Griller, Executive Director of St. Michael's Homes, who both hold the interests of our work close to their hearts.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know at info@stmichaelshomes.org.

We know we can count on you to help us serve so many in need. Thank you for your support!

Yours Sincerely,

Robin Griller, Executive Director

St. Michael's Homes
